The Concept and its Fruition
A dynamic couple, Prajakta and Ajith visit Italy and they discover the wood fired pizza in its pizzerias. Falling in love with its taste they decided to bring that experience to Indian pizza lovers. The challenges faced were many to adapt it for the Indian customers. After many trials and testing sessions and with feedback from connoisseurs and food critics a great menu was established to suit the Indian taste buds. In November 2019, Prajakta launched her first outlet at Bangalore and that was a mammoth success. But due Covid19 pandemic, it was stalled a bit.Though again the pizza pin started to roll in the month of July and August and the pizza lovers were thronged to Bangalore outlet.
After a month, Pizzology rolled franchise dough at Nashik outlet and then at Mysore. Both are huge successes till now.
What is so unique about Natural Woodfired Pizza?
Natural wood fired ovens lend itself to a high heat fast cooking process. Since the pizza cooks very quickly, it has the effect of imparting a delightful contrast on the finished pie. The bottom of the crust will cook very quickly, giving it a pleasing charred flavor on the edges that makes it taste just a little smoky, in a delightful way. The hot oven will also cook the cheeses and toppings very quickly, which allows them to retain freshness rather than being burnt and dried to a crisp in a slower cooking oven. Moreover, the toppings remain nicely textured; the cheese is melted and bubbling, and the crust has the perfect combination of chewy on top and crispy on the bottom – very healthy too.

With customer reviews at 4.9/5.0 as seen on major food delivery apps like Swiggy, Zomato and Uber Eats etc., it is evident Pizzology’s crunchy pizzas are a super hit with Bangalore’s pizza lovers. The menu is well received and non-vegetarians prefer Pepperoni and Ultimate Chicken delight while the vegetarians, Paneer deluxe and Mexican wave pizzas. To say customer delight is limited only to its pizza is not doing justice to its menu. The sandwiches, pastas, or salads; the small bites complimented with delightful dips and the wonderfully tasty desserts all are well accepted by its clientele.
With enthusiastic acceptance by its clients of their products and service experience has led Pizzology to a rapid expansion. They opened in Nasik and Mysore Pizza Food Outlets in the last six months and are presently about to open another outlet in Bangalore.
